MASTER THESIS

In the 4th semester of the Program, the writing of a postgraduate thesis is required. The student submits an application to the Coordinating Committee, stating the proposed title and supervisor of the thesis as well as a short abstract. Then a three-member scientific committee is appointed to help the candidate throughout thesis preparation.

The Supervisor and the members of the three-member examination committee of the Master's Thesis may be members of the Faculty of Education. and teaching staff of MSc.

The title of the master's thesis must be on a topic related to the courses of the program. It must be either an original clinical research topic or a review of the recent international literature. The writing language of the master's thesis can be Greek or English, with a Greek and English summary in both cases.

The thesis, which is submitted at the end of the 4th semester, is approved by the supervising professor and then publicly defended before the three-member examination committee.

For the master's thesis to be approved, it must be graded on a ten-point scale (1-10) with a minimum grade of five (5). The negative vote shall be justified in writing. If the postgraduate thesis is considered by the committee to be unsatisfactory and is rated below the base of 5, then the committee can ask the postgraduate student to improve it, modify certain parts or completely reform it. In the latter case, the committee sets a specific time frame within which the postgraduate thesis must be resubmitted, modified according to its instructions.

Postgraduate theses, once approved by the examination committee, are compulsorily uploaded to the "PERGAMOS" Digital Repository, in accordance with the decisions of the Senate of the N.K.U.A..
